How to reach Coral Beach and Playa Esmeralda in Marbella Spain
Marbella and Puerto Banus are situated on the Mediterranean coast, only 40 minutes by car from Málaga International Airport. Coral Beach is within easy reach of Ronda, Gibraltar and Antequera, and only a 2 to 3 hour drive from important Spanish cities such as Granada, Córdoba, Cádiz and Sevilla.

Marbella´s excellent location is the reason why many Spaniards as well as many people from all over the world choose to make Marbella their first choice for a permanent residence. Most European cities have direct flights to Malaga airport (which is only 40 minutes away). Flights last a maximum of four hours making short stays at Coral Beach possible.

Once you get to the airport you can rent a car (with or without a chauffeur), a service we can help you with, or arrange for a taxi to pick you up.The ride costs you 64 euros during daytime.
Coming from the airport, you must first follow the signs towards Torremolinos and Cadiz and 500 meters further you must follow the signs towards Algeciras. It is advisable to take the toll highway. Take exit nº 175 'Puerto Banœs' and follow directions to Marbella / Malaga. Take again exit nº 175 that indicates: Marbella- centro urbano. Coral Beach Marbella is 500 meters after that exit, at the first traffic lights, on the right hand side (on the beach side).

There's a direct shuttle from the airport to the Marbella bus station. The ride costs 4.30 euros and takes 45 minutes to get to Marbella. They usually run every hour on the quarter hour (depending on the season). You can check the bus company's website http://www.ctsa-portillo.com. Then you can take a local bus (you have to ask at the bus station) or take a taxi (which cost 9,80 euros during the daytime) to Coral Beach.
There isn«t a train station in Marbella. The closest one is in Fuengirola, which is 20 minutes away by car. If you come from Barcelona or Madrid by train, you must get off in Malaga and continue your journey by bus (there's a bus station next to the train station) which will take you to the Marbella bus station.
